About

Welcome to the unofficial website for the Vista Dorada community in Gilbert, Arizona.

History:

With a majority of the houses built between 2004 and 2005 by Shea Homes and Standard Pacific Homes, Vista Dorada is one of the newer neighborhoods to occupy the southeast side of Gilbert, Arizona. Bordered by Val Vista Drive to the east, Queen Creek Road to the north, and Appleby Road to the south.

This primarily upper-middle class neighborhood features 304 homes that average approximately 2000 square-feet in size. Home values generally fall in the $250,000 range, and residents are required to join the Vista Dorada Homeowners Association, managed by Associated Asset Management in Phoenix.

Numerous small parks and playgrounds on-site make Vista Dorada a family-friendly neighborhood, and when the children aren’t playing, they’ll be enrolled with the Chandler Unified School District. Residents will enjoy a brand new shopping center literally right next door, on the corner of Val Vista and Queen Creek.

Numerous restaurants are within a five-minute drive, as is Chandler Municipal AirportMercy Gilbert Medical Center is two miles north on Val Vista Drive, and for residents looking to jump into Phoenix, Loop 202 is conveniently located right next to the medical center.
